There’re a few things from God I’ve always known deep down. One of them being God had given me a desire to see him work in a place other than the United States. To be able to see his power at work in a culture that I’ve never seen before. To transform people’s lives. I know God does not contain himself to one region. He is the same God here as he is over the sea and I would love to see it and gain that perspective.

It really started in November though when God placed it on my heart to start looking for a missions trip I can do over the summer. I then got led to this organization and prayed about what missions trip he wanted me on. God told me to go on the one to South Africa so here I am. Wherever God calls me I will go. I don’t plan on being a full-time missionary but I believe that every person should go on a missions trip at least once in their life.

I believe through this missions trip God wants to give me a greater passion for people’s lives through this trip. A passion to see hurt and broken people come to know him as their personal savior and to be able to develop people who are already Christians to be in a closer walk with God. Through this missions trip, I also hope to experience God in a culture that isn’t westernized per se.

There is something I ask of you reading this is to pray for me. Pray for protection among other things because it is very powerful. I have seen so many prayers answered. I have seen it transform people’s lives. I have seen people radically healed through the power of prayer. I have seen strongholds and chains broken in people’s lives through the power of prayer. I have seen God provide financially to people through the power of prayer. I know prayer is the single most important thing I can ask for.

Through this journey, God has already started teaching me things. One of the things God has taught me already is that he will provide financially for his children. I have seen him provide for numerous people in ways that are supernatural. I know God will provide for this missions trip through the generosity of people like you.

I hope you will continue with me on this journey through prayer and financial provision as God leads you.
